Lois Geraldine Thompson Hamm

Halifax, VA Lois Geraldine Thompson Hamm, wife of the late Arthur Leslie Hamm, passed away Saturday, October 2, 2021, at the age of 87. Born in Shenandoah, PA on July 16, 1934, she was the daughter of the late James and Doris Whitehouse Thompson. Lois was retired from the Dixon Ticonderoga Company. She enjoyed cooking, gardening and playing cards, particularly Pinochle, Uno and Skip-Bo. Lois is survived by grandchildren, Audrey Powell and husband Stacy, Jennifer Tempest and Husband Brian Fuller, Brian Donnelly, Matt Donnelly and wife Deanna, and Joshua Tempest; special great grandchildren, Chase Powell, Paige Powell and Nathan Powell; 11 additional great grandchildren; son in law, Cliff Hertzog; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by daughters, Charlotte Hamm, Lesley Jadus and Paula Shoup; grandsons, Jeffrey Polk and Thomas Donnelly and siblings, Charlotte Siswein, Maude Thompson and Harry Thompson. A Memorial service and burial will take place in Pennsylvania at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to your local SPCA be considered.
