Lorraine Burdick Easter

Clarksville, VA -- Lorraine Burdick Easter, wife of the late Lawrence E. Easter, Jr., passed away on Tuesday, March 22, 2022, at the age of 94. Born on October 10, 1927, in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late Harry Clyde and Estelle Gorsky Burdick. Lorraine taught and played the piano for Sunday School at Clarksville Baptist Church for many years. She enjoyed sewing and knitting. Lorraine often knitted baby blankets and hats for donation to the local hospitals for newborn baby kits. Lorraine is survived by her son, Lawrence E. Easter, III; daughter, Cyndie E. Lundberg and her husband, Steve; grandchildren, Joanna DeAtley, Jonathan Easter, Kelly Harrison, Jacob Elder and Adam Lynch and 11 great grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Robert “Bob” Burdick. A memorial service will be held at 7:00 P.M. on Friday, March 25, 2022, in the chapel of Watkins Cooper Lyon Funeral Home. The Reverend Dr. Greg Randall will officiate the service.
