Louise Henderson Blankenship

Mrs. Louise Henderson Blankenship of 103 Rose Hill Dr., South Boston, VA, formerly of Danville, died Friday, November 13, 2009 at the age of 101. A homemaker, she was the widow of Eugene Blankenship, and was a member of Woodberry Hill Baptist Church in Danville. Surviving are one son, Fred Blankenship of Alton, VA; two daughters, Faye Kuykendall of Madison, GA, and Judy Gillespie of Louisburg, NC; 7 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild. A memorial service will be held Monday afternoon at 2:30 PM at Wrenn-Yeatts North Main Chapel followed by burial in Highland Burial Park with Rev. Larry Davis officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home prior to the service from 1 until 2:30 PM, and at other times at the home of her son, Fred Blankenship, 5003 Harmony Rd., Alton, VA.
