Louise Cole Jones

Louise C. Jones of South Boston went to her heavenly home on August 23, 2022 at the age of 87. She was born on April 29, 1935 in Halifax County to the late Charles S. Cole and the late Sophronia L. Cole and was married to the late Franklin B. Jones.

Louise was a member of Main Street United Methodist Church. She was the owner and operator of Unique Styling Salon for 38 years. She retired on July 22, 2022 after 67 years as a beautician. She loved to cook, freeze and can; her pickles were her specialty.

She is survived by a son, Anthony R. Jones; daughter, Angela J. McKinney and husband, Dale; grandson, Cole McKinney; sister, Peggy C. Burton; nieces, Patricia Burton and Debbie Puckett.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Willsie C. Francis and brothers, C.B. Cole, Therman Cole and John Cole.

Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 PM on Thursday, August 25, 2022 at Main Street United Methodist Church with Reverend Thad Decker, Jr officiating. Burial will follow in Shady Grove UMC Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, 2-3:00 at the church. Her family will receive friends and guests at all other times at the home of Angela and Dale. at 1800 Vaughan St. South Boston, VA 24592.
