Lucky Lee Hudson

Mr. Lucky Lee Hudson of 1019 Black Walnut Church Rd., Alton, VA died Tuesday, December 11, 2012 at the age of 56. He was born in Halifax Co., VA on August 28, 1956 to the late David E. Hudson, Sr. and the late Janie Susan Lowery Hudson. He was a former painter at ABB. Mr. Hudson was of the Methodist faith and was an avid horseback rider. Survivors include two sons, George Hudson and wife, Kim of Alton, VA and "Scooter" Thomas Hudson and wife, Kristin of South Boston, VA; three sisters, Louise East of King, NC, Anne Wilkerson and husband, Billy of South Boston, VA, and Gayle Hammock of South Boston, VA; a brother, David E. Hudson, Jr. and wife, Cindy of South Boston, VA; four grandchildren, Hailey Jade Hudson, Anthony Dale Hudson, Jasmine Janae Hudson, and Jace Lee Hudson; and special friends, Debbie Johnson and Hilton Lamm. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Larry Hudson and Emmett Whitt. Graveside services will be held on Friday, December 14, 2012 at 2:00 PM at Shady Grove United Methodist Cemetery with Rev. George Gorman officiating. The family will receive friends at Brooks Funeral Home on Thursday, December 13, 2012 from 7:00 PM until 8:30 PM and at other times at the home of Anne & Billy Wilkerson, 8191 Philpott Rd., South Boston, VA.
