Lucy Hazelwood Powell Epps of Scottsburg went to her Heavenly home on Monday, October 23, 2023.  She was born in Halifax County on April 10, 1947 to the late Josh Hazelwood and the late Katie Fuller Hazelwood.  She is survived by her husband, Charles Epps.

Lucy attended Clover Church of God of Prophecy and was devoted to her Christian faith and to God.  She enjoyed her flowers, her chihuahuas and her long fingernails.
