Lurie Elbert Sizemore

Midlothian, VA - Lurie Elbert Sizemore, age 84, died on Friday, April 8, 2016.He was born in Granville County, NC on February 25, 1932 to the late Walter Noel and Alice Yancey Sizemore.Mr. Sizemore worked in the grocery business and was a member of Grassy Creek Baptist Church. Elbert is survived by his wife, Frances Mulchi Sizemore, daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Richard Coggins of Williamsburg, son Steve Sizemore of Powhatan, sisters, Louise S. Loftis of Grassy Creek and Anna Jean S. Overstreet of Powhatan, brothers, Paul Sizemore and Pete Sizemore, both of Grassy Creek, and grandsons, Richard Coggins, Jr., Charles Coggins, and Mason Sizemore. The family will receive friends at Watkins Cooper Lyon Funeral Home, 703 Virginia Ave., Clarksville, VA 23927 on Thursday, April 14, 2016 from 12:00 p.m. until 1:30 p.m.A graveside service for Mr. Sizemore will be on Thursday, April 14 at 2:00 p.m. at Oakhurst Cemetery on Buffalo Rd in Clarksville with the Reverend Jane Lyon officiating.
