Lyman Albert Womack September 28, 2011 Lyman Albert Womack, 69, of Youngsville, died Wednesday, September 28, 2011 at home with his family by his side. He was born in Dardanelle, AR to the late Varina Hovis and Lyman Odell Womack. Lyman worked for many years with GTE and retired from Nortel Network as a Program Manager after many years of service. He was an avid fisherman and hunter and belonged to the Silver Lake Hunting Club. A celebration of Lyman's life will be held at 6 o'clock Sunday evening, October 2, 2011 in the Chapel of Bright Funeral Home. He will be laid to rest in Dardanelle, AR at a later date. Lyman is survived by "the love of his life", Brenda Hall of the home; children, Joel Womack of Buffalo Junction, VA, Lisa Blackwood and husband, Steve of Raleigh and Cindy Lindley and significant other, Glen Conyers of Apex; step-children, Stacey Markham and husband, Mickey of Henderson and Gary Millsap and wife, Tammy of Wilkesboro; grandchildren, Brittani Womack and Jennifer Dooley of Greensboro, Hannah and Weston Womack of Roxboro, Tyler Colvin, Sara and Savana Blackwood of Raleigh, Jessica and Brooke Lindley of Apex and Victoria and Matthew Markham of Henderson; brothers and sisters, David Womack and wife, Patsy of Houston, AK, Danny Womack of Harrison, AK, Willa Kennedy and husband, Ken of Gentry, AK, Rosa Mae Williams and husband, Duane of Buck, AZ, Ken Womack and wife, Peggy of Cummin, GA, Joan Johnson and husband, Marvin of Springdale, AK and Stephen Womack of Ozone, AK; special friends, Jorge Landeras and Jack Fields; all of his brothers from the Silver Lake Hunting Club; many nieces and nephews. He was loved by many. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Wake County, 250 Hospice Circle, Raleigh, NC 27607-6372.
