Mabel Thomas Clark

Mrs. Mabel Thomas Clark of 3004 Huell Matthews Hwy., South Boston, VA died Saturday, October 5, 2013 at the age of 94. She was born in Granville Co., NC on October 22, 1918 to the late Claude Thomas and the late Mary Williams Thomas and was married to the late Delbert Ross Clark. Mrs. Clark was a homemaker and was a member of Glenwood United Methodist Church. Survivors include a son, Claude R. Clark of La Crosse, VA; a daughter, Treva Hunt and husband, Bryant of Halifax, VA; and a granddaughter, Dana N. Hunt of Halifax, VA. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents,and a grandson, Tyler Wayne Hunt. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, October 6, 2013 at 4:00 PM at Glenwood United Methodist Church with Rev. Bob Woodfin and Rev. Jodi Jessup officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church for one hour prior to the service and at other times at her home.
