Marcia Brame Conner

Mrs. Marcia Brame Conner of 3026 James D. Hagood Hwy., Halifax, VA, died on Tuesday, September 24, 2013 at the age of 61. She was born on April 10, 1952 to the late Foy Ferrell Brame and the late Margaret Louise Reaves Brame and was married to Winfrey A. “Wimpy” Conner, Sr. She was a member of First Baptist Church in South Boston. Mrs. Conner is survived by her husband, Winfrey A. “Wimpy’ Conner, Sr of Halifax; daughters, Michelle Creasy and Crystal Williams of Halifax, Step-daughter, Bobbie Jo Conner, brothers, Randy Brame of Tennessee and Kenneth Brame of Wisconsin, grandchildren, Cody Arthur, Kaylie Arthur, Damion Conner, and Ashlee Wallace; niece Kimberly Williams and a number of other nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Sarah Arthur, brother Michael Brame and step-son, Alvin Conner. Memorial services will be held Saturday, September 28, 2013 at 1:00 PM at the home, 3026 James D. Hagood Hwy., Halifax, VA with Rev. Don Bryant officiating.
