Margaret Inez Adkins

Ms. Margaret Inez Adkins of South Boston passed away on December 18, 2009. She was born in Halifax County to the late John Gordon and the late Vernie Oliver Bunnell. She was a member of Olive Branch United Methodist Church and was a retired Inspector at Daystrom Furniture Co.. Survivors include two daughters, Judy Waddle and husband, Bill of Halifax and Bonnie A. Bagbey of Alton; grandchildren, Michael Waddle, Melissa Waddle, Jared Bagbey, and Jordan Bagbey; and fiance, Stuart Forlines of South Boston. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Linda Harris. The family will receive friends Sunday, December 20 from 7 until 8:30 PM at Brooks Funeral Home and at other times at the home of Judy & Bill Waddle, 1055 Dan River Church Rd.. Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 21 at 2:00 PM at Brooks Funeral Chapel with Rev. David Adkins officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Ridge Cemetery.
