Margaret Elizabeth Burton

Clarksville, VA - Margaret Elizabeth Burton went to be with the Lord on Monday, October 1, 2018 at the age of 61. She was born in Mecklenburg County on April 17, 1957 to Dorothy Simmons Robbins and the late Cephus Junior Parson. Margaret worked at Food Lion and 7-Eleven Convenience store prior to her disability. Margaret is survived by her mother, Dorothy Robbins of Clarksville; daughter Elenor Hopkins (Tim) of Clarksville; grandchildren Dylan and Savannah Hopkins; sister Maxine Ann Knight (Randy) of Fort Payne, Alabama; brother George Allen Parson of Alberta, Virginia and a niece and nephew, Charity and Joshua Knight. She was preceded in death by her father Cephus Junior Parson and brother Cephus Eugene Parson. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, October 5, 2018 at Bluestone Cemetery with the Reverend Norman Talley officiating.
