Margaret Cline Owen

Margaret Cline Owen, 91, of Easley, SC (formerly of Clarksville, VA), wife of the late Richard H. Owen, Jr., passed away Friday, May 19, 2017. Born in Appalachia, VA, she was the daughter of the late Andrew Jackson Cline and Elizabeth McNutt Cline. Mrs. Owen was a homemaker and member of Rock Springs Baptist Church. She was a people person who could light a room where ever she went, especially at the Legion Apartment Complex where she lived. Surviving are her daughters, Patricia Gilchrist (Sammy) of Easley and Phyllis Ann Munn of Bullock, NC; six grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; and three brothers, Jim Cline of Portsmouth, VA, Sam Cline of Mesquite, TX, and Joe Cline of Phoenix, AZ. In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by a son-in-law, Francis Munn and a brother, Bill Cline. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 10, 2017 at Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery in Skipwith, VA.
