Margaret Loftis Cole

SOUTH BOSTON, VA Mrs. Margaret Loftis Cole, widow of Charles B. “CB” Cole, passed away Monday, March 11, 2019 at the age of 87.Born in Halifax County on July 29, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Jimmie Loftis. Margaret was a member of Shady Grove United Methodist Church and was a member of the United Methodist Women of the church.She loved gardening and flowers. For 44 years she was employed at JP Stevens as an office personnel. Survivors are a daughter, Debbie Puckett and husband, Billy; and sister, Elsie Carter. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by sister, Edith Childress and brothers, Carlton Loftis and Keith Loftis. Funeral Services for Margaret Cole will be Thursday, March 14, 2019 at 2:00 PM at Shady Grove United Methodist Church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, 1:00-2:00 PM at the church.
