Margaret Tuck Thompson

Margaret (Peggy) Tuck Thompson, 94, of Richmond, Virginia passed away Saturday, August 28, 2021.She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie E. and Hettie Jean Tuck, and daughter, Carol Thompson Anderson. She was also preceded in death by her siblings, Pearl Morris, Herbert Tuck, Virginia Yancey, Edwin Tuck and Mary Hite. Peggy is survived by her son, Bubba Thompson; daughter, Jean Dowdy, and grandchildren, James Thompson, Wade (Taylor) Thompson, and Gabe (Meghan) Anderson and son-in-law, Wayne (Buddy) Anderson. Peggy was born and raised in Nelson, Virginia, moved to Richmond in 1954 and retired after 37 years with Philip Morris. Peggy was a born worker and loved working outdoors. The family wishes to thank Luz Coleman, her Caregiver, for her dedicated service and care to Peggy. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, Sept. 3, 2021 at Watkins Cooper Lyon Funeral Home with burial to follow in Virgilina Cemetery, Virgilina, Virginia.
