Margaret Jean Seate Timberlake, 75, Buffalo Junction, VA passed away Saturday, August 31, 2013. She was born April 20, 1938 in Granville County, NC to the late Badger Fenton and Allene Frances Williams Seate. She graduated from Oxford High School in the class of 1956. Margaret operated Margaret's Hallmark Shop in Richmond for nine years. Margaret was President of Women's Missionary Union and taught Sunday school at Clarksville Baptist Church. She was also an active member of Baptist churches in Seaford, DE; Richmond, VA and Oxford, NC. Mrs. Timberlake is survived by her husband George Noblin Timberlake and daughters and sons-in-law Cindy and John Stegeman, of Suwanne, GA; Vickie and John Jorstad of Snellville, GA; and Kim and Jean Desdunes of Lake Worth, FL. She is also survived by brothers and sisters-in-law Rev. Dr. Billy and Wanda Seate of Oxford, NC and Jimmy and Sarah Seate of Fuquay-Varina, NC; and seven grandchildren Scott Stegeman, Troy Stegeman, Ryan Jorstad, Cody Jorstad, Taylor Dunn, Whitney Dunn and Pierre Desdunes. Visitation will be held Sunday, September 1, 2013 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Watkins Cooper Lyon Funeral Home, 703 Virginia Ave, Clarksville, VA 23927. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, September 2, 2013 at Clarksville Baptist Church, 210 Fifth Street, with Rev. Dr. Greg Randall and Rev. Dr. Billy Seate officiating.
