Marie Gusler Williamson

Marie Gusler Williamson of Alton passed away on Wednesday, April 26, 2023 at the age of 90.  She was born in Franklin County on July 30, 1932 to the late James Robert Gusler and the late Mattie Sigmon Gusler.  She is survived by her husband, Robert A Williamson.

Marie loved gardening, swimming and being outdoors.  She was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church.

In addition to her husband, Robert, she is survived by a daughter, Judy Williamson Vaughan; granddaughters, Shannon Stephens and Amy DeJesus.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Deborah Carol Williamson; her siblings, Luther Gusler, Herbert Gusler, Melvin Gusler, Hubert Gusler, Macie Adkins, Gracie Potter, Ruby Barbour and Doris Gauldin; and her son in law, David Vaughan.

Services will be private. The family will receive friends at the home, 1211 Pointer Rd., Alton, VA.
