Marietta Wilson Gregory

Mrs. Marietta Wilson Gregory, 95, widow of Thomas Walker Gregory, Jr., died Thursday, March 12, 2009 at Community Memorial Hospital in South Hill. Mrs. Gregory was the daughter of Lawrence Waverly and Cora Tisdale Wilson and was a graduate of Longwood College now University. She was the CEO of Gregory Oil Company of which she and her husband operated. Funeral services will be 2PM Sunday in the chapel at Watkins Cooper Lyon Funeral Home. Interment will be private. Mrs. Gregory is survived by her nieces, Mary Matthews devoted daughter and her husband Curtis of Apex, NC; Barbara McMillian of New Bern, NC and Cindy W. Hite and her husband Dale of Clarksville. Great nieces and nephews Kerry Ferrell, Brian Meador, Kelly Meador, Brittany Hite and Lane Hite also survive.
