Marjorie Vaughan Carter

Mrs. Marjorie Vaughan Carter, 94, widow of George Carter, died Thursday, November 1, 2007 in South Boston. Daughter of Luther Thomas and Nora Lee Yancey Vaughan, Mrs. Carter was a long time member of Averette Baptist Church and was retired from the Agricultural service. Funeral services will be 2PM Saturday in the chapel at Watkins Cooper Lyon Funeral Home with interment to follow at Liberty Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 1-2PM in the chapel. Mrs. Carter is survived by nieces and nephews.
