Red Oak, VA - Mrs. Marjorie Anne Abraham Lehmann, wife of the late Frederick William Lehmann, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 25, 2019, at the age of 98. She was born on October 27, 1920, in London, England to the late David and Helen McCormack Abraham. Mrs. Lehmann was her father’s secretary at the Howe Press machine shop. She was enormously proud of the fact that her father, who was employed by the Perkins School of the Blind, created and produced the Perkins Braille writer machine. Cherishing her memories are her daughter and son-in-law, Diane and David Canning of Red Oak, VA; son and daughter-in-law, Keith and Brenda Lehmann of Wilmington, NC; grandchildren, Allen Canning, Kathy Souke, Aileen Cassada, Kara Tripp, Kevin Lehmann, Aimee Adams, Kyle Lehmann and Alanna Jackson; 16 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 2 P.M. on Thursday, August 29, 2019, at Antioch Baptist Church with the Reverends Jane Lyon, Kristen White and Elaine Tola officiating.
