Marjorie Farmer Nunn

Virgilina, VA Marjorie Farmer Nunn, wife of the late Aubrey Herbert Nunn, passed away on Sunday, January 17, 2021, at the age of 89. She was born the daughter of the late Thomas and Eva Agee Farmer in Halifax County on October 29, 1931. Marjorie obtained her Associates degree in Business and worked in banking and then as secretary with H.A. Nunn Construction. She was involved in her community, serving as secretary at Aarons Creek Baptist Church, and was a member of the Eastern Star and the Midway Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. Marjorie loved reading and being outdoors, enjoying long walks in the neighborhood. Survivors include daughter, Marcia Nunn and son, Herbert Nunn, as well as numerous other family members. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Evelyn Bagby. A private graveside service will be held at Aarons Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with the Reverend Vance Midgett officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Midway Volunteer Fire Department or Aarons Creek Baptist Church be considered. Online condolences may be made at www.wclfh.com.
