Marshall A. Ashworth, Jr.

Mr. Marshall A. Ashworth, Jr., 77, died Wednesday, October 3, 2007 in Richmond. He was the son of the late Marshall A. and Alice Ashworth and was born and reared in Mecklenburg County. Mr. Ashworth was a foreman with Shoosmith Construction Company and was a member of Salem United Methodist Church in Chase City. Mr. Ashworth is survived by daughter, Phyllis A. Evans and her husband, Gary Evans of Suffolk; and son, Morris Ashworth and his wife, Bonnie T. Ashworth of Clarksville. Also surviving is granddaughter, Renee Stewart of Myrtle Beach, SC. Funeral services will be private. Watkins Cooper Lyon Funeral Home is serving the Ashworth family.
