Marshall "Chuck" Charlie Elliott, Jr.

Marshall “Chuck” Charlie Elliott, Jr. of Buffalo Junction, VA, passed away early Friday morning, June 9, 2023, at the age of 58. Born in Granville County on August 8, 1964, he was the son of the late Marshall Charlie Elliott, Sr., and Joyce Oakes Elliott, who survives. Chuck worked for many years at Burlington Industries and later at Food Lion. He was a beloved son, brother and uncle and he especially enjoyed spoiling his nieces and nephews. Chuck was a member at Union Chapel Baptist Church.

In addition to his mother, Chuck is survived by his brother, Glenn Alan Elliott; nieces, Rebecca Kay Elliott (Samuel F. Harvey) and Reagan Lynn Elliott (Chris Jones); great nephew, Aiden Alexander Anderson; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins and special friends, Margaret and Larry Hart. He was preceded in death by his father; sister, Kimberly Ruth Elliott and grandparents, Myrtle and Matt Elliott and Ruth and Robert Oakes.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, June 12, 2023 at Union Chapel Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The Reverend Jackie Wray will officiate the service. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 PM Sunday evening at Watkins Cooper Lyon Funeral Home and all other times at the residence.
