Marshall Wayne Pulliam

PETERSBURG, VA Marshall Wayne Pulliam, 65, passed away Monday, November 17, 2014 at Medical College of Virginia. Marshall was born December 28, 1948 to the late William Allen and Thelma Lee Satterfield Pulliam.He was retired from Simmons Construction Company of Petersburg.Funeral services will be held at 2pm on Friday in the chapel at Watkins Cooper Lyon Funeral Home with the Reverend Rick Dahlberg officiating.Interment will be in Oakhurst Cemetery.Mr. Pulliam is survived by his daughters, Brenda K. Pulliam of Victoria and Marsha E. Pulliam of Scottsburg, sons and daughters-in-law, Kenneth W. and Loretta Pulliam of Hopewell and Robert M. and Stacy Pulliam of Randolph, sisters, Joan Spagnoulo of Disputania, Rita Littman of Petersburg, Deborah Cutright of Prince George and Jean Sanders of Mobile, AL, brothers, Steve Pulliam of Richmond and Donnie Ricky Pulliam of Farmville.He has 13 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren who survive, along with his devoted and long-time friend, Judy Cates.He was preceded in death by his brother William Allen Pulliam, Jr.The family will receive friends at Watkins Cooper Lyon Funeral Home from 6-9pm on Thursday.
