Marshall Jackson Reamey

Marshall Jackson “Jack” Reamey, age 91, entered eternal rest on Friday, November 15, 2019.He was born in Mecklenburg County on February 12, 1928 to the late James Horace and Mamie Freeman Reamey. Mr. Reamey was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Charlotte Daniels Reamey and son, Mark Steven Reamey.He was also preceeded in death by his siblings, Rusell Edwin Reamey, Maude Reamey Crowder, Rebecca Reamey Hopper and Mary “John” Reamey Jolly. Mr. Reamey is survived by his son, Lee Allen Reamey (Lisa) of Forest, VA, niece, Sylvia Allen (Carroll), nephews, Michael David Hopper and James E. (Jim) Reamey (Crystal), 4 great nephews, 2 great nieces, 2 great-great nephews and 6 great-great nieces. Funeral services will be Tuesday, November 19, 2019 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Watkins Cooper Lyon Funeral Home, 703 Virginia Ave., Clarksville, VA with The Reverend Jane Lyon officiating.Interment will follow in Trinity United Methodist Church Cemetery, Skipwith VA.Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
