Martha Williams Bradshaw

Martha Williams Bradshaw, 79, of Clarksville, VA, passed away on Thursday, August 22nd, 2024. She was born on January 9th, 1945 in South Boston, VA.  She is survived by her devoted husband of 60 years, Bernard Leroy Bradshaw.

Martha was a dedicated employee at Burlington Industries for 46 years. She had a passion for music and playing the piano, playing for her church starting at the age of 9 and continuing until 2015. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who cherished her family dearly. Martha also had a strong faith in the Lord and enjoyed fellowship with her church family.

In addition to her husband, Leroy, Martha is survived by her sons, Scott Bradshaw (Kerri) of Bridgewater, VA, Kolbe Bradshaw (Tammy) of Clarksville, VA, and Lee Bradshaw (Ruth) of Winston Salem, NC; grandchildren, Samantha Bradshaw, Zachary Bradshaw (Liza), Katie Norman (Eli), Maxwell Turner, Taryn Bradshaw, Sable Bradshaw, Tristan Bradshaw (Carly), Mia Boswell, Cyrus Bradshaw, and Malcolm Bradshaw; 7 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Billy L. Williams, Jr. She was preceded in death by her father Billy Lester Williams and mother Doris Shuford; and sister, Esther Mise.

A Celebration of Life for Martha will be held at Buffalo Baptist Church in Buffalo Junction, VA on Thursday, August 29th, 2024 at 2:00 pm. Visitation will precede the service at 1:00 pm.  Burial will follow in Buffalo Baptist Church Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Gideons International in memory of Martha.

Martha will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. May she rest in peace.
