Mary Elizabeth Dannenberg

Mary Elizabeth Brown Dannenberg, widow of Joe W. Dannenberg, passed away Saturday, August 25, 2007 at her home in Clarksville, VA. Born in Montrose, GA on September 20, 1912, she moved to Macon as a young adult. An active member of Vineville Baptist Church, she married Joe Dannenberg and became a significant contributor to and member of the Macon Forest Hills Garden Club; the Eastern Star, and other Macon organizations. Mrs. Dannenberg is survived by daughter, Joan Jones and her husband, Jerry of Marietta, GA; two granddaughters, Valerie Thomas of Chase City, VA and Stephanie Jones of Marietta, GA; and two great grandchildren, William Brody and Brinley Elizabeth Thomas. Graveside services will be 10:00 AM Monday at Riverside Cemetery in Macon with the Reverend Timothy Brown officiating. Hart?s Mortuary is serving the family in Macon, GA.
