Mary Brenner Dean

DANVILLE Mary Brenner Dean passed away on Saturday, April 30, 2022 at the age of 80.She was born in Roanoke, VA on August 30, 1941 to the late Albert W. Brenner, Jr and the late Blanche Newton Brenner. Mary enjoyed being outdoors, sitting on her front porch. Mary went back to school in her fifties, earning her GED. She is survived by a daughter, Alice Griffin; grandchildren, Tina Hodnett, Steven James Griffin, Jr, and Phillip Wayne Griffin; great grandchildren, James Rowland, Samuel Rowland, and Lauren Rowland; and sister-in-law, Virginia Lowery. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by children, Mary Ann Satterfield and Joseph Albert Satterfield; brother, James Albert Brenner; grandchild, Joseph Albert Griffin and son-in-law, Steven Griffin, Sr. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
