Mary Lewis Linthicum Wilson

CLARKSVILLE, VA , formerly COVINGTON, VA Mary Lewis Linthicum Wilson, 74, wife of the Reverend Donald Wilson, passed away Wednesday, January 7, 2015 at Halifax Regional Hospital in South Boston.Mary Lewis was born November 15, 1940 in Covington, Va. to the late Lester F. Linthicum, Sr. and Helen Thacker Linthicum.A self-employed real estate broker, Mary Lewis never met a stranger as they quickly became friends.A wonderful wife, mother, sister, and grandmother, she loved spending lots of time with her grandchildren.Funeral services will be held at 2pm on Saturday at Nelson Baptist Church with interment to follow in the church cemetery.In addition to her husband, Mrs. Wilson is survived by her children, Laurie Pearson and her husband, Brad, of Powhatan, Cassandra Wilson of Mechanicsville, and Melissa Newsome and her husband, Chris, of Gloucester.Her grandchildren, Brian Gentry Russell, Wilson Bradley Pearson, Alexander “Xander” Brady Pearson and Evelyn Anne Newsome, sister, Ann Leslie Linthicum and brother, Lester F.
