Clarksville, VA - Mary Elizabeth Paulus, age 79, widow of Werner Kurt Paulus, died on Monday, April 18, 2016.Mrs. Paulus was born in Maple Shade, NJ on January 21, 1937 to the late Bessie Head and Louis Ensign.She was a loving mother and grandmother, who had a passion for art and animals.She was an art director at her long time employer, Moorestown Lutheran Home. Mrs. Paulus is survived by sons and daughter-in-law, Werner Kurt Jr. and Carole Paulus of Westampton, NJ, Brian Justin Paulus of Merritt Island, FL, daughter, Nicole Suzanne Abbitt of Halifax, VA, sisters, Louise Conely, Gladys Suplee and Penny Omen and brother David Kinkade, all residents of NJ.Also surviving are her grandchildren, Amy Paulus, Alison Paulus, Justin Paulus, Summer Paulus, Zachary Paulus, Jack Underwood, Sara Abbitt and Sam Abbitt.
