Mary Morris Tuck

Mrs. Mary Morris Tuck of Browns Mills, New Jersey, passed away on Monday, January 2, 2012 at the age of 93, at Virtua Rehabilitation Center with her family by her side. She was a native and lifelong resident of Virgilina, VA. She was a resident of Browns Mills for the past 12 years. Mary was a retired employee of Burlington Industries, Clarksville, VA and she was a life member of Union Christian Church and was involved in the Women’s Club, Sunday School, and with the Fund Raising. Mary also attended Grace Episcopal Church, Pemberton, NJ. Mary loved to quilt, sew and cook especially the southern dishes, fried chicken and brunswick stew. Predeceased by her loving husband Edgar P. Tuck and children Ida-Frances & Anna. She was the beloved mother of David P. Tuck & wife Janet of Browns Mills, NJ; sister of Louis Morris and Louise Rice of Virgilina, VA; grandmother of 10 and great-grandmother of 8. Funeral services will be held at 1:00PM on Monday, January 9, 2012 at Union Christian Church in Virgilina, VA. Burial will follow in Virgilina Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Brooks Funeral Home on Sunday, January 8, 2012 from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM.
