Mary Nelson Weary

Mrs. Mary Nelson Weary, 87, widow of Alfred King Weary, died Wednesday January 28, 2009 at Halifax Regional Hospital. Mary was the daughter of the late John and Ella Morris Nelson and she was a member of Averett Baptist Church. She worked at Lake Sleepwear for many years prior to her retirement. Graveside Funeral Services will be held Friday 11 AM in the Oakhurst Cemetery in Clarksville. Officiating will be the Rev. Rodney Barwick. Surviving are her son and daughter in law Joe Rogers & Pat Weary of Clarksville; a daughter and son in law Doris & Robbie Arrington of Nelson; 5 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. She was pre-deceased by a son John Harold Weary. Prior to the funeral the family will be at the residence of her granddaughter Tracie Puryear. Contributions may be made to the Meck. Co.
