Mary Blount Wilson

South Boston, Virginia Mary Blount Wilson, 87, passed away at UNC Chapel Hill Hospital on Wednesday, June 24, 2015.She was born to the late John “Willie” and Eulalia “Shug” Blount in Mt. Laurel on February 23, 1928.Mrs. Wilson loved her family and friends and lived life to the fullest.She was an active member of North Fork Baptist Church.Mary leaves behind a daughter and son-in-law, Cheryl and Dennis Clark, two granddaughters, Christy Crowder and husband, C.W. and Cari Spencer and husband, Whitney.Also surviving are four great grandchildren, Kendall and Brett Crowder and Lexi and Grayson Spencer.She is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Lee Wilson.The family of Mary Blount Wilson will receive friends on Friday, June 26th at Brooks Lyon Funeral Home from 7-8:30 PM.Her funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 27th at 11 AM at North Fork Baptist Church.The family asks that memorial donations be made in the name of Mary Blount Wilson to a charity of your choice.Online condolences may be made to the family at www.brookslyon.com.
