Melvin Haywood Talley

Mr. Melvin Haywood Talley of 1041 First Street., South Boston, VA died on Monday, May 27, 2013 at the age of 82. He was born on Feburary 1, 1931 to the late Robert Talley and the late Victoria Cole Talley and was married to the late Mary Pulliam Talley. Mr. Talley was a retired farmer and a member of Shady Grove United Methodist Church and North Fork Baptist Church. He is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, brothers, Lawrence Talley, O’Neal Talley, and Elmo Talley and sisters, Irene Cole, Ruth Cole, and Frances Puckett. Graveside funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 29, 15, 2013 at 11:00 AM at North Fork Baptist Church Cemetery.
