Michael Stephen Rutledge

Mr. Michael Stephen Rutledge of Red Oak, VA, died on Friday, November 15, 2013, at the age of 52. He was born on August 6, 1961, to the late Henry Thomas Rutledge and the late Christine Guthrie Rutledge. Mr. Rutledge is survived by three children, Jennifer Nichols of Clover, VA, Holly Rutledge of Alton, VA and Chris Rutledge and his wife, Megan of Virgilina, VA; one sister, Nadine Seamans and her husband, Eddie of Chase City, VA; and three Grandchildren, Zayne Rutledge, Waverli Martin and Julyan Rutledge. Funeral services for Mr. Michael Stephen Rutledge will be held Tuesday, November 19, 2013 at 7:00 P. M. at Brooks Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jason Hay and Rev. Barbara Gravely officiating. The family will receive friends at Brooks Funeral Home Tuesday evening, for one hour prior to the service, from 6 until 7 P.M., and at other times at the home of his daughter, Holly Rutledge, 1014 Conner-Evan Tr., Alton, VA 24520.
