Millard Gilbert Phillips

Mr. Millard Gilbert Phillips of 3236 N. Terry's Bridge Rd., Halifax, VA died on Sunday, September, 16, 2012 at the age of 76. He was born in Halifax Co., VA on August 2, 1936 to the late Gilbert Lawrence Phillips and the late Truley Thomas Phillips and was married to the late Muriel Landrum Phillips. Mr. Phillips was of the Baptist faith and retired from Burlington Industries. Survivors include, one son, Brian Phillips of Halifax, VA; one daughter, Rhonda Phillips of Halifax, VA; two sisters, Geraldine Collins of High Point, NC and Elsie Comer of South Boston, VA; three brothers, Gary Phillips of Danville, VA, Benny Phillips of Cluster Springs, VA, Sammy Phillips of Halifax, VA; Beloved Pet, "Frodo". In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by one sister. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, September, 20, 2012 at 2:00 PM at Union United Methodist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Jack Stewart officiating.
