Myrna Inge Kizer

Clarksville, VA. - Myrna Inge Kizer,79, of Clarksville, VA died on Saturday, July 17, 2015. She was born May 18, 1936 in Mecklenburg County to the late Charlie Lynnwood and Helen Sizemore Inge. Myrna was reared in Mecklenburg County and was a graduate of Chase City High School Class of 1953. She was a member at Clarksville Baptist Church. Myrna worked at Burlington Industries for thirty seven years in inventory control. Mrs. Kizer is survived by her husband, Thomas “Carol” Kizer; daughter and son-in law, Patricia and Gary Coleman of Clarksville; son-in-law Ira Nelson of South Boston. She is predeceased by her sister Mamie Inge Hart and her daughter Sharon Nelson. Myrna is also survived by grandchildren Brian and Courtney Coleman of Cary, NC and Brett Coleman of Holly Springs, NC; and great-grandchildren Jacob Coleman and Reid Coleman of Cary, NC. Visitation for friends and family will be held at Watkins Cooper Lyon Funeral Home on Sunday, July 19 from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, July 20 at 2:00 PM at Watkins Cooper Lyon Chapel officiated by the Rev. Dr. Greg Randall. Interment will immediately follow the service at Oakhurst Cemetery in Clarksville, VA. Contributions may be made to “The Complex”, 1567 Noblin Farm Road, Clarksville, VA. 23927.
