Nancy Nicholas Anderson

SOUTH BOSTON Mrs. Nancy Nicholas Anderson, wife of Howard O. Anderson, Sr for 45 years, passed away Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at the age of 78. Born in Charleston, South Carolina on June 8, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Joseph & Doris Nicholas and the late Christine & Eddie Mayo. Nancy’s passions included her Lord and Savior, music and her beloved fur-babies. She was an assistant manager with Hardee’s. In addition to her husband, Howard, she is survived by daughter, Debra Bryant (Danny) of Nelson County, VA; son, Howard O. “Andy” Anderson, Jr of Arizona; daughter, Berri A. Rice of Forest, VA; 7 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; and sister, Judy N. Campbell. She was preceded in death by a sister, Catherine N. Viar, brother-in-law, Ernest Campbell, son-in-law, Randall Rice and a special nephew J.W. Williams. Graveside services will be at 2:00 PM on Saturday, January 23, 2021 at Oak Ridge Cemetery with Reverend Jack Stewart officiating.
