Clarksville, VA Nancy Snead Brady, wife of the late James Corliss Brady, Sr., passed away early on Monday, July 19, 2021, at the age of 90. Born in Clover, VA, on July 6, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Emily Virginia Bomar Snead. Nancy graduated from Clover High School in 1949. She was an excellent wife and mom to her husband and 3 children. Nancy loved to sew and cook, and always had a delicious meal ready for her family. She is survived by her children, Emily Johnson of Clarksville, Mary Brady (Salah BenSalah) of Kansas City, MO and James C. Brady, Jr. of Clarksville; grandchildren, Chad Johnson (Liesl), Ryan Johnson (Emili), Cathy Geehan, Jennifer Geehan and Matthew Geehan (Hannah); great grandchildren, Taylor Johnson and Brady Johnson as well as numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, Nancy was preceded in death by siblings, Dorothy Holt, MaryAnn Reaves, Bobbie Sheffield, Ned Snead, Jean Thompson and Harry “Snookie” Snead. A graveside service will be held at 2 PM on Wednesday, July 21, 2021, at Clover Cemetery with the Reverend Jane Lyon officiating.
