Nancy Wilborn Long

Mrs. Nancy Wilborn Long of 2037 Bold Springs Rd., South Boston, VA died Wednesday, October 9, 2013 at the age of 70. She was born in Orlando, FL on August 23, 1943 to the late Floyd Lee Wilborn, Sr. and the late Beatrice Shelton Wilborn and was married to Bernice Long. Mrs. Wilborn was a pharmacy tech at CVS. She was a member of Second Baptist Church and attended Black Walnut Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, Bernice Long of South Boston, VA; two sons, Joey G. Long and wife, Raven of Front Royal, VA and Gregory J. Long and fiancé, Beth of Alton, VA; two daughters, Tracy Long Barksdale and husband, Mike of South Boston, VA and Jonna Long Blanks and husband, Sam of Virgilina, VA; a sister, Mary Ann Reagan and husband, Tincy of Alton, VA; four grandsons, Joshua Long, Christopher Long, Justin Long, and Matthew Barksdale; a granddaughter, Amanda Barksdale Ambrose and husband, Joey; and great grandaughter, Kaylee Rayn Barksdale. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Floyd Lee Wilborn, Jr., sister-in-law, Joyce Long Conner, brother-in-law, Johnnie Mack Long, mother-in-law, Lucille Lowery Long, father-in-law, Johnnie Matt Long, and Uncle Jack Lowery. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, October 12, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Black Walnut Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Raymond Wooten and Rev. Larry Davis officiating, The family will receive friends at Brooks Funeral Home on Friday, October 11, 2013 from 7:00 PM until 8:30 PM and at other times at the home.
