Nancy Webster Ragans

Nancy Webster Ragans of Martinsville, VA, passed away on Sunday, June 16, 2019, at the age of 87.Born in Halifax County on March 9, 1932, she was a devoted daughter of the late Lewis Aldan and Mary Satterfield Webster. Mrs. Ragans was a loving wife to the late Leggett Myers Ragans. She was a graduate of Turbeville High School. Mrs. Ragans worked at Dupont for more than 50 years as an inspector. She was a special aunt and friend, who loved flowers and her pets, and was always caring for others with a smile on her face.She was a member of Mount Carmel Presbyterian Church. Survivors are a special niece, Bettie Lowery and her husband Sonny; a special nephew David Ragans and his wife, Joan; devoted friend, Violet Satterfield and a host of other nieces, nephews, family and friends. A graveside funeral service will be held at 6 p.m. on Monday, June 17, 2019 at Mount Carmel Presbyterian Church Cemetery with the Reverend Don Bryant officiating.
