SOUTH BOSTON Mrs. Nancy Conner Tuck of South Boston, passed away on Thursday, August 19, 2021 at the age of 85. She was born in Halifax County on May 13, 1936 to the late Basil and Kate Clawson Conner. Nancy was married to the late Emmitt West Tuck. Nancy was the bookkeeper of her late husband’s business, Tuck Enterprises. She attended Grace Baptist Church. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Gil and Greg Lacy of Halifax; son and daughter-in-law, Victor and Lisa Tuck of Roanoke; grandchildren, Joshua Lacy (Alyssa) and Katelyn Stanger (Robert); as well as great grandchildren, Oliver Lacy, Cannon Lacy, Leo Lacy, Ella Stanger, Cooper Stanger and Brennan Stanger. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Andrew Tuck. The family would like to give a special thanks to Hospice of Virginia, Heritage Green Assisted Living, and Marsha’s Homecare Agency for their diligent care. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, August 21st at Grace Baptist Church with the Reverend Jack Stewart officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Ridge Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church and other times at the home of Gil and Greg Lacy, 2055 Salishan Drive, Halifax, VA.
