Nancy Goode Wood

Clarksville, VA - Nancy Goode Wood passed away on Wednesday, June 21, 2017 at the age of 90.She was born in Kinston, NC on June 27, 1926 to the late Blanche Vaughan Wood and the late William Wallace Wood.Nancy was a graduate of Clarksville High School and a long-time employee of Burlington Industries.She was of Presbyterian faith. Nancy Wood is survived by a brother, William W. Wood and wife, Rheta of Raleigh, NC; a nephew, William Davidson Wood; a niece, Kelly Wood Currin and husband, Perry, and three great nieces, Cameron, Casey, and Paige, all of Raleigh, NC. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 1, 2017 at Oakhurst Cemetery.The Reverend Jane Lyon will officiate. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Mecklenburg County Life Saving & Rescue Squad, P.O.
