Nannie Crute Weaver

SOUTH BOSTON Mrs. Nannie Lee Crute Weaver passed away on Friday, August 16, 2019 at Meadowview Terrace in Clarksville, VA at the age of 92.Born in Halifax County on September 29, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Aubrey and Pearl Beale Crute and was married to the late Jack A. Weaver. She was a member of Dan River Baptist Church and was a homemaker to her family and she loved gardening. Nannie is survived by a son, Thomas Weaver; daughters, Mary Martin and husband, Don and Nancy Eldreth and husband, J.C.; grandchildren, Kyle Weaver, Sean Weaver, Jenny Highlander, Brenda Brunner, Fran Wilhelm, Chris Seat, Jason Seat, and Megan Hunt; 15 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren; and a special friend, Beth Woods. In addition to her husband and her parents, she was preceded in death by 4 siblings. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, August 19, 2019 at Dan River Baptist Church with Reverend Doug Gibson officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, 1:00-2:00 PM at Dan River Baptist Church.
