Naomi Sizemore Humphreys

Naomi Sizemore Humphreys, 94, passed away on Tuesday, July 16, 2013 at MeadowView Terrace. She was born April 24, 1919 in Virginia to the late Ledford and Nannie Naomi Sizemore. Naomi was a retired beautician who owned and operated Naomi's Beauty Shop; and she was a member of Jamieson Memorial United Methodist Church. Mrs. Humphreys is survived by nieces Margaret J. McMichael of Fairfax, Martha S. Aitken of Durham, NC and Patricia Zuraw of Virginia Beach; nephews Bruce Jennings of Fairfax, Dennis Sizemore of Fredericksburg and Allen Wiles of Danville; sister-in-law Catherine Sizemore of Buffalo Junction and a host of great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rowzie Boyd Humphreys. Memorial services will be held in the chapel at Watkins Cooper Lyon Funeral Home on Monday, July 22nd at 11 o'clock am with the Reverend Jane Lyon and Pastor John Bright officiating. Interment will follow in Oakhurst Cemetery.
