Nathaniel Wayne Branscome

SEMORA, NC - Mr. Nathaniel Wayne Branscome of Semora, NC died Thursday, March 17, 2016 at the age of 58. He was born in Halifax Co., VA on August 17, 1957 to the late Ewell E. Branscome and the late Addie Rhoda Bowman Branscome. Wayne was a construction worker and a member of Semora Baptist Church. He loved gun collecting and building furniture in his woodworking shop. He was loved by all and will be greatly missed. Mr. Branscome is survived by his daughters, Addie Michelle Ray and husband, Erik of Wilmington, NC and Megan Lynn Branscome of Danville, VA; brothers, Franklin DeLeon Branscome of Lynchburg, VA, Glen Curtis Branscome of Fernandina Beach, FL, Marvin Randolph Branscome of Raleigh, NC, and Ronnie Dale Branscome of Raleigh, NC; sisters, Mary Lou Meeler of Alton, VA, Annie Ruth Carter of Alton, VA, Bonnie Gale Turner of Callahan, VA, and Ruby Alice Nester of Blairs, VA; grandchildren, Reagan Lynn Ray and Carissa Ann Ray; and his former wife, Tammy Branscome.. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Charlie Madison Branscome and Walker Ewell Branscome. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
