Norell Epps Ridgeway

ALTON - Mrs. Norell Epps Ridgeway of Alton, VA passed away on Saturday, March 31, 2018 at the age of 89. She was born in Halifax County, VA on July 17, 1928 the daughter of the late Charlie Henry Epps and the late Lillian Hall Epps and was the widow of William Clyde Ridgeway. Norell worked at Leggett Department Store for many years and previously served as a telephone operator. Mrs. Ridgeway is survived by sons, Edmund Clyde Ridgeway and wife, Betty of Fairmont, WV and Thomas Ray Ridgeway and wife, Debra of Burlington, NC; sisters, Geneva Epps Cole and Margaret Epps Hemric, both of South Boston; 4 grandchildren and many great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, sister, Evelyn Epps Crews, and brothers, Lawrence W. Epps and Cecil H. Epps. Funeral services will be private.
