Ophelia "Ann" Poole

Ophelia "Ann" Poole of Virgilina passed away at her home on Sunday, October 2, 2022 at the age of 85. She was born in Halifax County on July 4, 1937 to the late Aubrey Poole and Mary Ford Poole.

Ann loved flowers and loved to cook, being known for her delicious sweet potato pudding, coconut cake and pimento cheese. She was a member of Willow Oak Christian Church. Ann was a babysitter by trade and will be remembered for her love of all the children she attended.

She is survived by many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by several siblings.

Services will be held at a later date.
