Oran Wayne Daniels

Clarksville, VA Oran Wayne Daniels, husband of Linda Jean Lambert Daniels, passed away at his home on Thursday, April 18, 2019 at the age of 72. He was born on January 13, 1947 in Odessa, TX to the late Lenox Marshal Daniels and Violet Williams Daniels. Oran was a retired Senior Chief with the United States Navy where he faithfully served his country as a Naval Tugboat Operator in multiple tours during the Vietnam War.He received much of his secondary education through the Navy, having completed Radio School, Boatswain Mate, Leadership Development Course, and Mine Sweep School. Following his military service, Oran was a Civilian Tugboat Captain with Moran Towing of Virginia, where he received further maritime education through the Tidewater School of Navigation. Oran loves his God Jehovah, loves his family, pampered his wife and daughters, loves his mother in law (Loretta Lambert), loves his dogs (Itchy and Bill), loves the ocean and fishing, loves nature, loves to travel in his motor home, loves taking care of his land and working in his shop (repair things), and enjoys reading Technical Manuals. In addition to his wife of 44 years, Oran is survived by his daughter Carrie Ann Worley; daughter Stephanie Lynne Fountain (James); daughter Loretta Deanne Burford (Don);grandchildren Dakerie Daniels, Brion Daniels, James Fountain, Jr., and Jessica Fountain. He is further survived by his mother-in-law, Loretta Lambert. Memorial Services for Oran Wayne Daniels will be private. Online condolences may be expressed at www.wclfh.com.
