Oscar Edward Anderson

Oscar Edward Anderson of Bullock, NC passed away on Friday, November 29, 2024 at the age of 76. He was born in Danville, VA on October 23, 1948 to the late David Thomas Anderson Sr. and the late Pauline Rebecca Hamiton Anderson and was married to Linda Carroll McKee Anderson.

Oscar worked for 23 years as a mechanic for the American Tobacco Company. He would spend as much time as he could tinkering on anything he could get his hands on and was a jack of all trades. He will be remembered fondly by his friends and family.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Linda Anderson; daughters, Jane Carol Dean (Darren) and Tammy Denise Anderson; grandchildren, Haley Smith (Jason), Chelsey Dean, Amber Rogers (Michael), Colen "CW" Smith (Bailee); great grandchildren, Jayden Smith, Lexi Smith, Gracie Smith, Emma Darnell, AnnaBeth Rogers, Bithiah Rogers, and Lucas Smith; and his brothers and sisters, Tony Anderson, Troy Anderson, Christine Harry, and Lorraine Griffith. Oscar was preceded in death by his parents; great granchildren, Michael Lee Smith and Sklyer Leigh Smith; and 2 brothers; and 3 sisters.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. The family will receive friends at the home of Jane Dean, 9543 Callahan Acres Ln, Bullock, NC 27507.
